Jorge A. Ramos
Excited to be able to stay home to homeschool my daughters. I will be assisting Bottimore and Associate, P.L.L.C. with their family law clients. I am thankful to be able to take a step back and focus on my family and to receive biblical training while maintaining some level of involvement with family law.
As an attorney, I always work hard to represent my clients effectively, treating each of them as people and doing everything I can to understand their positions and needs. I take pride in what I do, recognizing my duty to serve, and when you enlist my support, you can expect my undivided attention. Although family law can put significant pressure on everyone involved, not least of all my clients, I understand how to keep my calm and follow through on the legal strategies that I have seen succeed.
Working at both small law firms and one very large one, I understand the way that the legal system functions, and I am skilled at making it function for my clients. There is never any reason that a client should walk into a court or mediation proceeding feeling anything but confidence when they are with me. After the better part of a decade serving as an attorney, I have driven results for my clients and won their trust. Family law can become complex, and no matter what challenges may arise during a case, I will continue to fight for my client.
Family law is more than a job for me: it is my calling. I have worked in other legal areas, and after a lot of soul-searching, I realized that family law was the only one for me. Meeting my neighbors and traveling around the city, I cannot help but feel an urge to do something for the people around me. Whether to make the city a better place or to make the people in it better off, I see family law as one opportunity to do good after another. This is a point of pride for me.
Bilingual, I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I am a natural leader and mentor, empowering those around me to demand more from themselves so that they can reach their full potential. This is relevant to my work as an attorney because it shines through in the casework I take on and the representation I offer, signs of my sincere empathy with others. I want to see all my clients do well and meet the goals they have set for themselves in the legal system.
